Minam River Lodge is an oasis in the wilderness. Adjacent to historic Reds Horse Ranch, you can only reach us by horseback, foot or small bush plane. Outside of LaGrande, Oregon in the midst of the Eagle Cap Wilderness.

The wild and scenic Minam River flows a short distance away, offering people a chance to get away from urban activities and slow down the pace. Spend your time fishing, hiking, swimming, horseback riding, hunting or just relaxing and wildlife watching.

Each cabin offers private bath w/ shower and wood burning stoves for cool mountain mornings. Our excellent chefs and experienced lodge staff take pride in preparing great mountain meals, served buffet or family style 3 times a day.

Experience the fresh air, beautiful scenery, pristine water, great food and warm, friendly company as you enjoy the large rock fireplaces in the lodge or relax outside on the deck.

Animals that are regularly seen around Minan Lodge are elk, mountain goat, raccoon, deer, and the occasional bear. Grouse, turkey, several species of raptors, hummingbirds and innumerable resident and migratory songbirds also frequent the lodge.
